When entering the National Park La Cangreja , you can observe the abundant presence of fauna and flora there is to find in this region. Besides that, there is also a wealth of watersources.

•  Observation of birds: When you like to watch birds, you can enjoy a rich colourfull variety of birds here, for there are a lot of different species present, such as toucans, hummingbirds, yiguirros and many others.

•  Camping possibilities: The area can count on a clean open air area, where visitors can put up their tents to spent the night. At this place you can also make use of the toilet, shower and cookingfacilities.

•  Walkingpath: There is a walkingpath layed out with a total distance of 9 kilometers , which leads you through the natural beauties of this primary forest.

•  Visit the Hill La Cangreja : ' La Piedra ' is the highest part of the National Park La Cangreja and offers you a marvellous panorama up to the coastline of the Pacific Ocean and other surrounding areas. The route is only 7 kilometers long, but with steep parts, by which it is absolutely recommendable for them who love challenge and adventure.

•  Current projects: Big efforts are made for and in cooperation with the local communities, to develop different, directed actions to protect the wealth of present sources that this area has to offer.
